Giving Circles are a way for you to meet with friends and co-workers in an informal setting and discuss philanthropy projects that interest each of you - all at a tax advantage! These circles are a donor-advised fund in which the donor makes recommendations to the host agency (the Foundation) for charitable grants to be made from the fund.

Each circle, consisting of 5 to 10 members, must commit a total of $5,000. The Foundation will match this $5,000, doubling the bang of each dollar. And every dollar donated is tax deductible. Before a circle first meets, the Foundation will provide a brochure listing many different funding opportunities throughout the state - all providing access to justice. The Circle can than choose which project or projects they would like to support.
