PHOENIX (Sept. 20, 2005) -- The legal community celebrates a Night for Justice with its annual fundraiser with a twist this year and a special "celebrity" lawyer.

In partnership with the Poisoned Pen bookstore, the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education will host well-known author Scott Turow, writer of Presumed Innocent, Burden of Proof and other legal thrillers.

In addition to the appearance by Turow, Arizona Supreme Court Justice Ruth McGregor will be an honored guest, as well as other well-known Arizona legal figures. The Foundation's annual fundraiser has become a legal social event of the season, drawing more than 300 guests who purchase raffle tickets for high quality prize packages, sample wine from select vineyards and enjoy fare from local restaurants and caterers. This year, the event will be held at the exciting Bentley Projects space in downtown Phoenix.

The event raises thousands of dollars for the AFLSE, which provides free legal services to those in need throughout the state and develops and funds law-related education programs for Arizona's children.

When: Tuesday, November 8th, from 5:30- 8 p.m.
Where: Bentley Projects, 215 E. Grant Street, Phoenix
Cost: $60 per person
