Description

Overview: During this training, participants will be provided with a variety of resources and curricula which is designed to teach topics in diversity. During this training, participants will learn interactive teaching strategies to utilize with their students that will educate them on topics in diversity as well as legal consequences of discrimination.
 
 Training Objectives: As a result of this training, participants will be able to teach students the following:
  • The importance of embracing cultural difference
  • Topics related diversity such as stereotypes and prejudice
  • The impact of choices
  • Legal consequences of hate crimes and discrimination
