Description

Overview: Communication through technology is becoming an integral part of modern day life for all ages. Knowing your rights and responsibilities is essential to good citizenship. This training will provide participants with interactive methods to educate youth on positive and effective online communications.   The lessons will address the legal guidelines for acceptable posts, your right to privacy, and protecting yourself from inappropriate communications. Additionally, participants will learn how to educate youth on the laws surrounding online communications: What is private? What can be viewed by potential employers and colleges? What can be viewed by their current school administration?
