Description

Overview: Arizona’s newly required civics test has changed the focus of this training! Through the use of online games and engaging lessons, students can increase their knowledge of civics while having fun. Participants of this training will learn how to use specific on-line games and lessons to prepare their students for the required civics test.  Through games, lessons, webcasts, and more, students learn how the government works and how they can do their part by being productive citizens. Students have a chance to be the President, solve the budget crises, implement a public policy, and much more!
 
Training Objectives:
  • Educate youth on their Constitutional Rights
  • Explore the iCivics.org site to learn all of the educational tools
  • Encourage youth civic engagement
  • Provide lessons and activities that will encourage successful completion of the Arizona civics test
