Description
Overview: Students are savvy on how to access digital information. But they may not have the skills and understanding to know what risks there are in their cyber world. This academy will provide interactive lessons on topics relevant to youth such as cyberbullying, netiquette, digital footprint and digital privacy. Additionally, participants will receive strategies and tips for working with the lower grade levels that will tailor to their attention span and learning needs.
Training Objectives:
§ Learn effective methods to teach on-line citizenship
§ Inform students of the risks that may exist in the cyber world
§ Understand how to use technology responsibly

**Trainings are FREE for School Safety Officers. Scholarships are available on a limited basis for educators from a School Safety Site
