Description

 

Overview: During this 1-day training, participants are provided a variety of easy-to-follow curricula to help instructors implement a successful Mock Trial Program.  The curriculum will enable students to understand the court system and increase their awareness of the importance of the law in a democratic society.  Participants will also learn the requirements of the Arizona and National Mock Trial competitions as well as techniques to prepare students for conducting a trial.
 
Training Objectives:
  • Understand the basic concepts of a trial process
  • Learn how to implement mock trials
  • Learn how to conduct a mock trial simulation
  • Gain resources to assist in mock trial implementation
  • Prepare students to participate in Arizona’s Mock Trial Competition
