Description

Overview: This training will provide participants with interactive methods to educate youth on the Fourth Amendment. It will address issues of search and seizure limits, probable cause and reasonable suspicion. Activities will be provided that will present students with the information needed to not only understand their rights and responsibilities but also how searches can ensure student safety. Participants will receive lessons, activities, and resources that will assist them in preparing students to become responsible citizens.
 
Training Objectives:
  • Educate students on the provisions of the Fourth Amendment
  • Teach students what constitutes probable cause in search and seizures
  • Help students understand their rights and responsibilities in regard to the Fourth Amendment
