Description

Overview: The Center for Civic Education is expanding this program to include electronic portfolios. Participants of this training will learn how to implement Project Citizen in their classroom through the use of technology.  Hands on techniques will be used to ensure that each participant leaves the training with the tools necessary to create an electronic portfolio. In addition to learning how to develop an electronic portfolio, participants will receive strategies for effectively engaging students in a showcase. Participating in the AZ State Showcase is NOT a requirement to attend this training.

  • Understand public policy and how it relates to students
  • Understand how to develop an electronic portfolio
  • Learn how to keep the students collaborating while working on independent projects
