Overview: More than 60% of domestic violence happens in the home. According to the Arizona Department of Health Services, witnessing violence as a child is the strongest risk factor in transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next. This academy will provide participants with interactive lessons to educate students on laws pertaining to domestic violence and understanding the difference between violence and acceptable parental discipline.
