Mock Trial Nationals... How You Can Get Involved!

This 3-day event will be hosted in Arizona in May 2011, and will bring hundreds of judges, attorneys, and high school academic elites from across the country to the Valley.

Who will attend the National Championship?

  • Justices, judges and attorneys will participate as judges and "evaluative jurors."
  • The 400 selected to participate as judges and jurors are considered the top in their field nationally.
  • More than 40 of the top teams from the United States, the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianna Islands, and South Korea compete at the National level.
  • At least 400 students will compete in the National championship.
  • Estimates are that at least 30% of mock trial student participants go on to law school.

Thursday Pin Exchange Reception
May 5, 2011

  • This Mock Trial cultural tradition is the first chance for the students to mix and mingle with their peers from across the country. The students enjoy dinner and exchange pins that represent their state or school. The Exchange will be held at the host hotel with a Cinco de Mayo theme.
  • Recognition opportunities include name placement in all programs, signage at the event and company mementos for students.

Friday Night Event for Students
May 6, 2011

  • Students and coaches will attend a fun event Friday evening. Activities being considered are a Diamondbacks game or Dave and Buster′s.

Awards Banquet
May 7, 2011

  • On the final evening, an awards banquet is held to celebrate the accomplishments and hard work of all the students. The event consists of dinner and an awards celebration, with a student dance to follow at the host hotel.
  • Recognition opportunities include name placement in all programs and signage at the event.

    • Total for Cost Event: $75,000

The culminating Awards Banquet will be held at the Sandra Day O'Connor Federal Courthouse. Sponsorship of a table is a wonderful way to reach this target audience and support our future legal leaders!

Table sponsorship is $1,000 per table and includes prominent display of the sponsor's name/logo in all promotional materials, including table placecards.
