The School Safety Program is a state-funded program that places School Resource Officers (SRO's) and/or Probation Officers (PO's) in selected schools to promote a safe environment. The SRO's and PO's provide Law Related Education (LRE) through existing curriculum and encourage positive interaction between students and law enforcement.
