Description

Overview: This training will focus on violence that spills onto our campuses such as gang activity, fights and teen dating violence. Participants will receive a variety of curricula from interactive lessons to videos that can be utilized with students as well school personnel and parents. Co-facilitated by Gerald Richard III, Esq., a former gang prosecutor and Special Policy Advisor for Law Enforcement for the Arizona Attorney General’s Office, this training will be packed with school-wide prevention strategies and laws related to youth violence.
 
Training Objectives: As a result of this training, participants will be able to…
 
  • Teach students violence prevention lessons which develop problem-solving skills and equip them with information on laws pertaining to youth violence
  • Leave with new violence prevention curricula
  • Gain school-wide strategies to prevent violence and create a safe-school environment
